VARIETY TEMPTS PATRONS TO A NEW PERFORMANCE SEASON

The 2007-2008 Season at Cal State Northridge’s Plaza del Sol Performance Hall brings several new and exciting events this season including: top Irish band Dervish, Broadway Showstoppers, internationally renowned Les Ballet Jazz de Montreal, politically attuned The Second City Comedy Troupe’s Dysfunctional Holiday Revue, followed by Ain’t Misbehavin’, Magic of Ireland, Pasadena Symphony, and Texas swing band Asleep at the Wheel.

Long a mecca for great entertainment, the Performance Hall offers several new programs each month—a welcome alternative for those looking for thrilling live entertainment right here in the San Fernando Valley. Unlike large, sterile venues in Los Angeles, the Performance Hall is an intimate 500-seat theatre with outstanding acoustics. Add great performances and you have the perfect ingredients for a unique theatrical experience.  As patron Catherine Echart said while buying tickets, “It’s like having Linda Eder performing for me in my living room! There isn’t a seat more than 50 feet from the stage!”
